Is Sherbert Vegan?

Sherbert or Sherbet is a popular frozen dessert all over the world. It sure helps beat the summer heat. Sherbet is like ice cream with a low percentage of butterfat.

Unfortunately, Sherbert is not vegan, but Sorbet is. Think of Sorbet as a vegan cousin of Sherbet. Unlike Sherbet, Sorbet does not contain any dairy products, making it a great choice for those who are lactose intolerant.

What Is Sherbert Made Of?

Sherbert is made from:

  • Ice cream
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Gelatin
  • Fruit juice
  • Egg whites
