Is Jumanji on Disney Plus? Where to Stream All Jumanji Movies

If you are looking for Jumanji on Disney Plus, continue reading as we show you where you can watch it online.

Jumanji is an action-adventure movie based on a children’s book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg. The plot revolves around a paranormal board game in which each player’s turn brings new dangers from the jungle.

After the 1995 movie, there are two sequels that focus on the same board game, with a twist. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle features Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart.

A dated video game that has the same rules as the original Jumanji board game is discovered by four high school students. They each become a separate avatar or character when they begin playing since they are all drawn into the virtual game environment.

The only way they can return to the real world is if they end the game. However, each character has a life count and if it ends, it leads to permanent death.

Is Jumanji on Disney Plus?

Disney+

We regret to inform you that neither Jumanji nor Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle are Disney films, despite their similar premises.

Disney Plus mostly has Disney movies, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Fox, and a few other houses. Jumanji is Sony Pictures, so the movies are missing from Disney Plus.

Sony signed a deal in 2022, as a result which its movies are released on Disney and Netflix after the end of the theatrical premiere. However, none of the Jumanji movies have made it to the platform because these movies came before the deal was struck.

Because of copyrights, we don’t think Jumanji will be making its way on the Disney Plus platform anytime soon. There are, however, plenty of movies that you can watch on Disney+ like Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Moana, and more.

Where to Watch Jumanji Movies Online?

Right now, you are able to watch Jumanji on Netflix. All three movies are available to stream on the platform, but only in a few regions. Only Netflix Argentina, Brazil, and India have all three parts.

None of the movies are available on Netflix in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. But to watch the movies, all you need is a VPN.

What We Know About Jumanji 4 So Far

Jumanji 4

Jumanji: The Next Level was a super hit at the box office, and a sequel to the movie is definitely coming as confirmed by Hiram Garcia, the president of Seven Bucks Production.

Because of the pandemic delays, we can expect Jumanji to be released sometime in the next year, as no official announcement has yet been made. Garcia did confirm that Jumanji 4 is in the pipeline, promising:

“It’s going to happen. It’s going to happen, for sure. We have a really big vision for that third Jumaji movie. We were just discussing the pitch the other day. We’re bringing it into Sony shortly.”

The mid-credit scene of Jumanji: The Next Level provides a clear indication regarding the next movie. Spenser’s mom and a mechanic accidentally get sucked into the game, and some animals are also released into the real world. Since animals have escaped, maybe some characters have as well. So, the next movie is quite promising indeed.

With that in mind, fans are hoping to see the original cast in Jumanji 4 as well. However, we should expect some new characters and possible villains as well.
